Frequently asked questions
Do we have to sign a contract or pay a monthly fee?
No. I normally invoice the work done. A monthly arrangement makes sense for ongoing monitoring and management, but it is an option, not a condition.
How many computers can you look after?
I am aimed at smaller companies and teams that do not need an IT department of their own — somewhere between a handful and a few dozen devices. For anything larger I will tell you honestly that I cannot cover it on my own.
Can you work remotely, without coming to the office?
Most of it, yes — monitoring, managing access, sorting out users’ problems. Coming in person is mainly needed for installing new equipment and work on the network itself.
What exactly does data operator work involve?
Migrating and cleaning data, transferring it between systems, consistency checks, reports and simple automation of repetitive tasks.
